Lorimer to the board of Director of Almaden Minerals Ltd. Mr. Lorimer qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse & Co. and subsequently was a financial executive with the Patino Mining Corporation and Little Long Lac Gold Mines Ltd. In 1971 he joined A.E. Ames & Co. and on his transfer to Vancouver became a director and vice president responsible for corporate and government underwriting in British Columbia. He is currently a portfolio manager with Odlum Brown Ltd. Mr. Lorimer's experience will permit Almaden to fulfil the requirements of proposed new regulations regarding Corporate Compliance and Audit Committees.
