PROJECT HIGHLIGHT : ELK GOLD PROJECT
In January 2011, Almaden announced the positive results of the Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Elk Gold Property by SRK Consulting Australia with reliance on other authors in the areas of geology, resources, and mineral processing. Subsequently, Almaden entered into an agreement with Gold Mountain Mining Corp (formerly Beanstalk Capital Inc). whereby that company purchased a 100% interest in the Elk for 37 million shares and a 2% NSR subject to regulatory approval. |
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT : TARSIS RESOURCES LIMITED
Almaden sold its MOR, Cabin Lake, Caribou, Meister, Tim, Prospector Mountain, and Goz projects, all situated in the Yukon Territory, and the Erika project in Mexico to Tarsis in exchange for 3.5 Million common shares of Tarsis. Almaden retained a 2% net smelter return royalty on each of these properties. |

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT : WILLOW PROJECT
In 2007 Almaden Minerals initiated a regional exploration program in Nevada. This work resulted in the acquisition by staking of several new projects where high sulphidation epithermal gold-silver mineralization and alteration occur including the Willow Project located in Douglas and Lyon Counties. |
