Elk MET Test Achieves 95% Gold Recovery

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT : ELK GOLD PROJECT
Almaden has a 100% interest in a high-grade gold resource in southern British Columbia. The Elk produced 51,753 oz of gold from 18,414, tons, and a significant resource remains. A 2006 exploration drill program wrapped up in October, and a new resource calculation has been finalized.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT : TARSIS CAPTIAL CORPORATION
Almaden sold its MOR, Cabin Lake, Caribou, Meister, Tim and Goz projects, all situated in the Yukon Territory, and the Erika project in Mexico to Tarsis in exchange for 3.5 Million common shares of Tarsis.
